Magnificent means the “Great Work”
Question: A number of Life Coaches are promoting “Become the Magnificent You” but this could become a ‘peacock parade’ of magnificent people where pride or self-congratulation is mixed in. The challenge is first to imagine PURE magnificence then strive towards it, knowing that, until now, many of us have been less than magnificent. It would be inevitable to have some pride or self-congratulation as a stage toward purity. We do need to recognize how far we have come and what we have achieved.
Would the Taj Mahal be magnificent? Where are our human examples of magnificence? Some of Nature seems to express this virtue. Would we all
agree on which places?

Dear Friends,
I just adore how life goes through rhythms and how the wheel of life goes up and down, with us watching its motion; so it appears that we are moving right along from the vices of evil into the virtues of good! And yes, as Linda points out, that which “should” be a virtue could actually reveal to be rather vicious… So if Nature seems to express this virtue, can we have an agreement on where magnificence lives? What a great question that is! Beyond empty claims of magnificence, which, as Tazo so judiciously points out, are just a semblance of a Spirit Man, might there be a natural expression that would ease the proximity of Wisdom-Sophia to the soul and permit for a human being to just sustainably do the next right thing, moment by moment? Why is it that, some of us, although knowing the wise thing to do would be, for example, to exercise, do not? Why is it that, some of us, although knowing that the wise thing to do to have a successful business is to market it, cannot find the energy to do so? In other words, why is Wisdom-Sophia in exile? Might there be a natural habitat for Her to come out of hiding that would allow each and every one of us to be organically wise? Provided She comes out, is there a causal relationship between natural wisdom and REAL magnificence? The last question is easy… If I were to sustainably do the next right thing, then I would be magnificent; no doubt about it… That is what beautiful people–Self-realized masters–have accomplished throughout history. When there is a beautiful soul, a beauty (a magnificence) arises which is not of this world.
Why is Wisdom in exile? Because, in this manner, it gives us (the non-magnificent us) permission to create unconscious time: “Tomorrow I will meditate, tomorrow I will exercise, tomorrow I will love… Tomorrow in Jerusalem…” Why tomorrow? Tomorrow never comes. “If not now, then when?” asks Rabbi Hillel. Procrastination is a trick of the mind; it keeps you hoping, and meanwhile the chance to be wise and magnificent slips by. That is how you rob yourself of your inborn magnificence; of being the SUN of God.
So yes, there is a place in Nature, where Wisdom lives… It is called the Tree of Life. Yet Wisdom is in exile on that Tree, in the sense that even a Prophet like Moses couldn’t even reach Her… He had to stop at the sphere of Kindness (throat chakra) and everyone else with Him–at the exception of Master Jesus, of course. Yet, what if we were to really be wise, we would be doing the most foolish thing, like looking forward to messing up and praying the simple prayer “bring the littleness on!” Why doing something so foolish? Because what you resist, persists. Therefore, what if we were to really feel (rather than resist that creation) what it feels like to be less than magnificent? What if we would embrace the arrogance to not pray for the strength to do the next right thing? What if we were to really feel the despair of that, the sadness, the loneliness, the anger that comes from that betrayal of the heART?
Then we would realize that Wisdom would join us long enough down here to give us a hand for us to climb up the Tree… Soon the 3rd eye would open… And that would be it: we would reach the Promised Land and what’s not magnificent about that? It is quiet there, there’s no need to brag about it because, quite frankly, it is such an honor to be welcome in that land that you become very, like very, very little. And here is the PaRaDoX: the more little you become, the greater, as in, the more magnificent you are!
In JoyLOVE,
Mahalene
PS. How would one find out about joining your Sunday class and meeting some of the magnificent angels of theRKI, dear Dr. Tazo?
