These few paragraphs are for you, dear Julia, especially as you bear the promise of life within yourself… It is also written to give a new perception of what being a “MystiQ” really is… The reputation of mysticism within the business community is horrendous, and yet, quite deserved! Very often gentle souls who call themselves “mystics” are indeed still searching for how to unite their heaven to their eARTh. Very often, their eARTh is not as resplendent as a Mother would wish it to be…

Mother, you see, is archetypally She-who-picks-up-the-socks! Like it or not, she is the Officer of the Law of the four-letter L-O-VE word! And if there is something in your [Mother] eARTh, that is, in your manifested world that you do not like, be it your body, your car, your friends, your money, your job, your clients, your home, etc, etc, it is likely that your inner Officer, your Mother, is not fully developed, and that your Miser instead is running the show! Understandably, business people are shying from mysticism, which they label as opposite to the aim of a successful business, defined here as rendering a timely service while operating under the auspices of generous abundance…

If you do not know when your electricity bill is due, or where you actually put it last, chances are that you are not in your body, you are in your head, in your story of how being an accountant and/or accountable is for boring people. That is quite the opposite, dear heART, of being a MystiQ; that is being a Philosopher! It is not a coincidence if Amerindians, who are interested in embodying sacredness (a form of presence, which is incontestably the most exciting and seXy show on eARTh!) use the saying: “Talking the Talk, and Walking the Walk!”

It is my prayer that the Eagle English Q of the word “MystiQ” would encourage you to embrace a larger Quota of your entirety, as it is entirety or the 100% mark that connects heaven to eARTh… A broken or a partial bridge will never deliver the message successfully! May therefore the mother/matter of factness of these few words begin shifting the business view on the practical impact of being a MystiQ, and may it empower the gentle “dreamer” in you to “talQwalQ” so impeccably that you can gain a trust and a hearing! May eARTh and heART finally be seen as being written with the same letters, whether you are a serious business man in a three-piece suit, or a flower child selling glittery rainbows without the added support of a merchant account! Ultimately may you take the Q-leap that will bring you to enter (your) QuEEntum Kingdom of LOVE!

Soooo, with no further ado…

Osho tells the story of two men who were lost in a dangerous forest on a very dense night. One man was a philosopher and the other was a mystiQ. Suddenly, dark clouds opened with the crashing of a violent storm, accompanied by great lightning. While the philosopher looked at the sky, the mystic looked at his feet. In that moment of lightning, he could see the path illuminated before him. In the same instant, the philosopher pondering at the lightning missed the path.

That forest was nothing compared to the density of the story in which you are lost! The confused nightmare of your mind is most certainly darker and more dangerous: should you experience a glimpse of truth, look at the path it is lighting for you! If you ask how and why, you will have already missed the Ahaccident, the holy instant when the same meets the unsame, when the eternal meets the temporal… That is how lightning IS so enLIGHTening!

Looking at the path is to do what is next for you to do, without preferences or resistances. Expressing preferences or fears (I prefer chocolate to meat, or I don’t like waking up early) is just what goes on in your head, in your thinking mind: it is no more than an opinion. Acting on the other hand requires a form of totality (the 100% quantum again) that is the source of fulfillment. Feel the contrast between studying a recipe for a raspberry tart and eating a bowl of them, with cream on the top, or the difference there is between reading about Tantra and making LOVE!

By being mystically alive and grounded on Earth, you are naturally in touch with the world; now you hear the song of rivers, the conversations of animals… Now you enjoy friendshipping with trees, flowers and fruits… Now you find yourself treating with respect a cardboard box! That which you would dismiss as ordinary becomes sparked with iridescent golden flecks. Big or small, all events and all meetings are then viewed as the sacred and miraculous encounters they are, since you are ardently, wholeheARTedly, intensely and passionately receiving the light they emanate… Deeply nourished by being at-ONE, body and soul, you are the lover, if only for the flash of an instant, whose thirst is quenched by the sweet kiss of the Beloved!

However that KodaQ Moment is very precious; now your feet are firm, your courage is strengthened, and your intention to wake up affirmed… Now you have tasted the lips of the Beloved, of GOD, of truth: you have drunk in the well and the will of His waters, and you are no longer thirsting aimlessly. One lightning moment and you have the clarity to know where to walQ, and the inLOVEness that awaits you once you “arrive!”
