Indeed you never know when the next piece of the puzzle is going to come from! I was watching the DVD of a comedy, simply enjoying the play of a simple movie, just rolling with the punches, enjoying the jokes sort-of-a-moment!
It was the story of a newly married man who “rescues” his best friend and best man who lost his job, his appartment, his car: his everything. The friend, Dupree is the name, is naturally relaxed: nothing bothers him, genuineness, innocence and total lightness of being! He is a total pleasure to watch in action, as nothing seems to get him down!
Things move along in the trio, going from the wife being slightly annoyed to really irritated to interested to really enjoying the company of her husband’s friend, which of course made the husband very, very jealous, even enraged! It came to the point where, unable to contain himself, he threw himself across the table, attacked his used-to-be best friend and man, almost chocking him to death, and left the marital home!
What’s the point, I hear you ask? I am getting there: Dupree, as a way to honor the relationship, organizes a search for his friend Carl, and finally find him. Attempting to inspire him the calmness and the “carlness” (Dupree most have known about the magiQK of Eagle English) that he had long recognized in his friend, Dupree finally tells him: “there’s two things I know about in life. losing and loving… And you can’t lose, unless you stop waiting!”
You never know, don’t you, where the “lover” will come from: what a Wow message that is! Never ever give up on your dreams! They may just be the next thing as you turn the corner, just a few feet away…
