This is SO fun: I spent the past weekend in NYC, being ordained as a minister… Yep, the voice you are reading now is this of Rev. Maha: isn’t that totally groovy? The best part of the ordination was to receive the surprise to be so completely in my heART that I have not a single doubt of my own divinity or of yours, for that matter of fact! I can also tell you that, on the way to NY, I was opposed by an officer of the airport who blankly refused to let me travel with my precious Goji Berries/Grapefruit juice lovingly prepared and with my essential oils! I had not a clue that the regulations of carry on had changed, and did not know I was not supposed to travel with liquids or gels! At the moment when he was being so righteous, I can tell you I had the hardest time seeing his divine side! O well: you cannot become a Minister without being asked to let go of a few possessions, be they physical, emotional or mental! So there!
Again the greatest surprise what to receive QKabbalah! In the past, when asked what QKabbalah meant, I would say: “QKabbalah means “receiving”, as in receiving a parking place when you are in a street that is busy with traffic, receiving an invitation to a romantic date, when you have declared you want to be in a relationship, receiving a million dollar when you can’t pay your bills, you know, your everyday receiving!
However it is only this Monday that I felt and knew what receiving was, on the 9/11, mind you, which demanded an inner crumbling of sorts… Yes, it may be that all ego illusions need shattering before the heART can reveal itself fully, and it may be that it takes a catastrophy as big as the towers falling… I remember saying “whatever it takes”… And I mean that with as much compassion as I can muster, since I know through my dearest friend and mentor, Rev. Goddess Sofreeyah (she is the one who ordained me, and also lives in NY) how terribly painful the 9/11 was and keeps on being for many!
On that day, I was given the grace to understand, or rather stand-under what QKabbalah is, and given what “receiving” really means! I received freedom, freedom from fears, freedom from attachments, freedom from desire, freedom from everything and anything my tricky ego mind had ever imagined to keep me bound! What a gift, a gift I live to share with you, literally so!
